In 2012, as a first-time mom with a new perspective on life and love, an accidental jewelry-making project became a unique and compelling passion for Christina. From a young age, “Stia”, a nickname for Christina, found herself enthralled with design and entrepreneurship.
After college at SUNY Oneonta and then at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Christina spent 6 years in the bra industry working as a product developer and merchandise manager for several large retailers. Now leading the Stia Couture brand, Christina looks forward to sharing her unique pieces with women of all ages. Designs are each handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Stia Couture has a finger on the pulse of modern fashion as well as a timeless classicism in each style.
Christina Young was among the first group makers of to join us during Just Jersey’s first holiday season. As fellow Morristown resident with a young family, new brand and passion to grow her business, she was a perfect fit for our young enterprise. We are proud to say that we were one of the first local stores to carry her line. We’ve loved being part of her journey and watching her company expand to now almost 400 stores nationwide.
