Construction Method:  The ring begins as a block of wood that is turned on a wood lathe.  It is then fit into the stainless-steel ring core.  Once the wood and metal components are assembled the shape is refined and sanded.  Next many layers of a protective, skin safe, polymer finish are applied and then buffed and polished to seal the wood and protect it from moisture and wear.

Care Instructions:  The layer of wood is protected with a super hard protective finish which seals and protects the wood from moisture.  It is best to avoid prolonged exposure to water, such as swimming or bathing, and care should be taken to preserve the beauty of your ring.  You can polish your ring to return the luster if necessary.

Variations:  Due to the natural variations in the wood, your custom ring may look different from the ring or wood sample you see in the store or online.  There is a variation in color tone, texture, and grain in each piece of wood.
