Not everyone will remember these, but nearly two decades ago, everyone had them. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which operates the Garden State Parkway, stopped selling the infamous Parkway tokens in 2002. Made of nickel and brass, the tokens were outmoded by E-Z pass and a toll hike from 35 cents to 50 cents.
Fashioned into key chains and jewelry by a local craftsperson. Color of metal setting will vary.
